A voice from
Comuna 13.
Jordy came of age in Comuna 13 — a hillside barrio of Medellín that once bore the weight of Colombia's most difficult decade. He painted through it. His murals climbed the staircases; his figures wore the color of the sky he wanted for his neighbors.
Today his sculpture Pachamama stands at the heart of Comuna 13, and his canvases hang in private collections across four continents. Highbridge Art Gallery is his first permanent home in the United States.
